Giving students from low-income families the opportunity to continue their schooling. We are democratizing access to education one scholar at a time!
Learn more EEF helps high-potential senior secondary school students from low-income families to finance post-secondary education in Nigerian federal universities.

We encourage applications from current SS3 students for the Class of 2021. We will support you in university qualification exams and assist with processing admission upon success. Application is free.
Successful applicants become part of the Efiwe community, where they have access to a network of high-potential students in Nigerian federal universities. In addition to financial and emotional support, our students shall engage in quarterly leadership conferences and community meetups. Our technology platform will give students access to online courses focused on 21st century employability skills.
We do not operate like a traditional loan. In exchange for training and support, Efiwe scholars are expected to contribute 15% of their annual income for 5 consecutive (working) years after completion of their degree. Scholars are eligible to defer payment for the first year after their university education. All returns from repayments are used to keep the fund running so we can help future students go to school.
Our loan is not interest-based. Our repayment is not fixed, but based on your future earnings.
We do not require any upfront payment, collateral or guarantor. We only need you.
We want you to have minimal distractions, so you can fulfil your potential stress-free.
